Remembering 9/11 five years later
I’ll never forget where I was and what I was doing the day this horrible tragedy unfolded. Truly the worst devastation America has ever experienced. It still saddens me to this day of all the lives and loved ones that were lost that day, just because some stupid terrorist wants to bring their holy war to our turf.
Perhaps we’ll never really know all the details surrounding the actual events that happened that day. Some believe it was the government that played a hand in all this, I for one do not believe that at all. There are the conspiracy theorists that will lead you to believe that there were bombs planted in the World Trade Center, and that the Pentagon attack was mandated by the U.S. military, all bullshit in my beliefs.
I spent many days after 9/11 grieving over the scenes I saw on TV. I can’t imagine the devastation the people felt that were actually there or affected by this.
I will never forget the victims of 9/11/01.
